Corelite Board

This is the stuff Fletch used in his transom and it is pretty good stuff. Same density as Coosa but much less in price. I spoke with the Giancarlo del Cioppo who is the Business Development Manager via email. These sheets come in 4x8 from 3/8" to 3". I had him give me the price for the following sizes. He also said they can be bought from their business in Miami or from the following stores: Composites Once, North American Composites, and Fiberlay.

3/4" $4.46 per square foot which comes out to $142.72 a sheet
1 1/2" $8.64 per square foot which comes out to $276.48 a sheet
2" $11.58 per square foot which comes out to $370.56 a sheet

you think 1 layer of the 1.5" is strong enough or would 2 layers of 3/4" with glass between them be better? (for a transom on a 22-2)

Go with glass sandwiched between the 3/4 inch sheets.

nice!
I'm making my materials list for my upcoming transom/deck rebuild and think I am going to go with this material for the transom. Did you use epoxy or poly for your resin? (Sorry If I've missed your rebuild, and I'm being redundant; I'll do a search)
