Excellent Corey!! Was kinda wondering why you were joining up over there...

She's an excellent boat, although I don't think kevlar reinforced. Built in Murfreesboro, TN, before H-S moved to Columbia, SC, then Sarasota. Way before my H-S time ('99), so don't know much about her. But glad you are back in the saddle!! :605_thumbs_up: :605_thumbs_up:

im thinking so. it looks like it will fit my needs well. when i got to it today i was very impressed. its extremly dirty but looks like it will clean up pretty good. i could not find any soft spots. also transom is solid as well. looked up under the console and its some of the cleanest wiring ive ever seen on an old boat. its got a nice v all the way back. but the transom is weird, it has a cutout on the bottom part of it. my buddys blue wave has the same thing. it also has an inner liner and higher gunwales so it will be more difficult for the kids to fall out. lots of teak, i like the teak so most, if not all of it will stay. it was a nerve racking trip home, as 90% of the trailer is good, except for the springs and mounts. ill get some pictures up tomorrow. it was 36 degrees here today so i didnt spend much time day inspecting and getting a plan together. it took me 2hrs to get the trailer good "enogh" to chance getting it an hr home.

this has got to be one of the cleanest wiring ive ever seen in an old boat
Image

another weird thing, there is a rod holder on the port side but nothing on the starboard side
Image
Image

it has 3 finished compartments, anchor locker, one in the casting deck and one aft of the casting deck

smallest livewell ever

tons of bright work

Corey, that little Sea Sprite with the old Merc 700 on it, I only had to pull that thing 2 miles...1 mile down the main road, 1 mile down our street. I had my eyes glued to the trailer wheels the whole way looking for any signs of the hubs, spindles, or bearings starting to give me issues.

LOVE the 8 ball shift knob!!

From what I know, that "notch" is supposed to allow the prop to see cleaner water. It must work, as there are a bunch of different brands that have that feature, Pathfinder being one of them.

Like you said, she should clean up nicely, and you should be able to bring back that teak with no probs...unless some of the pieces have dried out and split.

Looks like an old Johnson 120 on her, correct or not?

its an 84 115. just poped the cowling for the first time. it doesnt look to bad. the guy took care of this boat and then just parked it. judging by the kids at his house i would have to say he parked it when he started having kids. pressure cleaned it today, very happy with the end result. still needs a bit more of a deeper clean but its a start.

so heres 3/4 of it cleaned, look at that rub rail. thats a couple hundred dollar expense off the list.

Lookin good bud!! The boat looks perfect for the trailer, a couple of fenders will take care of that. Tried turning the motor over yet?

I'd put Marvel Mystery Oil in them if your worried about rings.

I was gonna say you just need to start off by pressure washing her. Looks like you had that covered. Looking good! You could flip her already and make some $$$$

im kinda lost on where to start on this thing. its weird not having to do a full resto. i think im going to start by pulling the console to get to the fuel tank. from there i should be able to get a game plan together.Diamond in the rough is about right. i played for a little bit on it. took some compound and did a couple quick spots. havent done any wax, its got potential
